Chew and speak with confidence

Relax.   No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.   Dentures replace the missing teeth restoring the natural appearance, bite and function the patient once had.  Dr. Toups has available Portrait® IPN, Bioblend® IPN, Bioform® IPN and Classic®  the latest in state-of-the-art natural looking teeth.

Dentures are fitted to go over or around gums of the patient but lower denture are very challenging for patients to wear - often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.  Dr. Toups provides the latest in traditional implants like Zimmer dental and 3M™ MDI mini dental implants to provide the best fit within the patients budget and needs.

In situations when teeth have to be removed and dentures placed, Dr. Toups prefers to extract teeth and place the denture right away. This is called immediate denture placement and allows the patient to not have to go through the embarrassment of being without teeth.  This procedure allows the tissue to heal and the patient can get accustomed to wearing the denture while healing. We have very extensive experience in this technique which allows us to duplicate or correct the patient's natural teeth appearance.
